It was the first major activity of the college union. The union members and all other students put their heads and hands together to make it a grand success. The official function was held in the morning. Smt Devaki Nilayamgode inaugurated the college union and Sri shyam Sasi, Cine artist inaugurated the Fine Arts Association. Albin K Puthur, the chairperson of the College Union presided over the function. Manager and the Principal addressed the gathering. The students presented cultural program in the afternoon session. The magazine committee found it an occasion to interview the guests for their upcoming college magazine. Prof. E D John, GTA president was present at the afternoon session and he addressed the students.
